Knotless twisted of the same diameter is 28% stronger than conventional knitted knotless or woven nettings. There are many advantages to twisted knotless netting over knitted nettings:

Advantages of knotless twisted netting:
	Less influence to water currents as there is much less drag than knitted nettings
	A stronger net that weighs much less than woven raschel type or knotted netting.
	Much less bulk than knitted nettings
	Much simpler to clean than knitted nettings
	The filaments are much tighter

Comparison between Twisted Knotless construction & Knitted Raschel nettings.
Twisted Knotless netting, used by Smart Net Systems, is composed of two sets of twisted filaments that are going in the same direction to, and including the joinings. This results in no loss of strength.	Knitted Raschel (Braided) type netting is constructed with the filaments in a series of knots that are woven together. The diagram demonstrates the way the filaments change direction at the joinings. This results in a strength loss in the average range of 30 percent of the tensile rating of the filaments.
